Paths of Glory: Practical Insights for Kingdom Life – Adam Osborne

As I sit at my own sons desk and write this to you family, I have the eyes for generational legacy. There is so much I want to communicate, but with holy restraint I speak not to the vast revelation, but to the need of the hour.
LOVE.
I didn’t get a chance this past Sunday to go deeper into the wild lands of glory that are reserved for a company of people who are living from the union celebration of interior rest, peace and
love. So in a few moments now I want to encourage us deeper and further and higher and wider, to embrace His arms and be transformed. The literal word for glory and one of the finest examples in the NT testament is a word called ‘doxa’ and it can be literally translated: ‘To allow the Trinity to willingly destroy our personal opinions so we can have their perspectives’ What I called on Sunday having ‘eternal optimism in the midst of chaos’ What a revolution, what a place to be; may we grow into that together for His name’s sake!
Many advisors make us strong. We are not so much in a democracy but a Theocracy! In calling us as a body, to allow Him to rid us of any mindset that is not of Him is a adventure in
itself! Be courageous, be bold to know He knows the way through!
In Luke 6 v 35 and Matthew 5 v 44 we are challenged and commanded to ‘love our enemies’ a glory path for sure! One that leads to not only His kingdom come, but peace for chaos, rest for
unrest and love for hate.
When we read this confronting and critically important love call from Christ Himself we need to see what He means so that we can inherit the beauty and application in it.
Jesus uses the word ‘agape’ for love here on purpose. He is saying ‘agape’ your enemies! Agape means ‘to be trusted by the Bridegroom to go and prepare the Bride’ woah!
When Jesus was saying love your enemies He was saying; I trust you son or daughter to do everything and anything so that your enemies have the opportunity to become the bride of me!!
Jesus was saying; I trust you son or daughter to prepare these enemies into ones who will be part of the bride! Jesus was saying: I want you to have a ‘bridal paradigm’ about your enemies so that they can become part of My bride also!
When we think of Psalm 23 and verse five it states; you prepare a tables before me in the presence of my enemies’ – what if that table of preparation was so that you had the opportunity
to see enemies comes into their original intention from Him; as sons and daughters and as part of His bride!!
Everything we do for our enemies is to prepare them to be as we are: the bride of Christ. He saturates that table (your life) with His presence, His glory, His oil and His fullness!
What if our roles were to live out (which I fully believe they are) the following:
“Most of all, I’m writing to encourage you to pray with gratitude to God. Pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion. And pray for every political leader and representative, so that we would be able to live tranquil (peaceful and quiet) undisturbed lives, as we worship the awe-inspiring God with pure hearts. He longs for everyone to embrace his life and return to the full knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:1-2, 4 TPT
“Aspire to lead a calm and peaceful life as you mind your own business and earn your living, just as we’ve taught you. By doing this you will live an honourable life, influencing others and
commanding respect of even the unbelievers. Then you’ll be in need of nothing and not dependent upon others.” 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 TPT
Christ asks us to die to our own personal opinions so that we can embrace His perspective. Not a merging of the two, a death of the the insufficient so we can enter into the fullness of what He would have us model to the world around us in each moment we live. An example of the power of this reality is not hard to find as all throughout history, pressure has produced diamonds in the church to emit the wondrous light of Jesus to the culture and the community.
One such story is found in Bulgaria in 1943. When after years of prayer a Rabbi and an Orthodox Church came into alignment in prayer and influenced the heart of an earthly king, King Boris of Bulgaria, who as an ally of Hitler, but did not let one of the 55,000 Jews leave Bulgaria, yet inmiraculous fashion saved a whole race of people in one nation. It is attributable to understand the power of prevailing prayer, Jesus led prayer in the Holy Spirit.
King Solomon says “the king’s heart is channeled water in the hand of the Lord; God directs it where He pleases” It takes great skill to direct the heart of a king, and it is unlikely that Boris took the “right direction” without the prayers of Daniel Zion the Rabbi. King Boris of Bulgaria saved over 55,000 Jews during the 1943 extermination.
I wholeheartedly believe we too have that call to King Morrison here in this land we call home. That we too in Him can effect and affect the heart of this king to be steered and turned the way of Christ. I call on us all to pray for our leaders and not curse them, remembering that we are called to see people become sons and daughters regardless of their sin-stained-lives, there wicked-anti-Christ doing (maybe they are waiting, just waiting for a true son or a true daughter to show them a glory path)
Remember our nation is not like other nations, we have a specific, individual role in history, we are an end time, now time refuge, a place of peace, of rest, a place of His kingdom. We have the privilege and honour and the power in Him to help steer the nation, steer the state, steer the region and most importantly steer people into ‘bridal awareness and therefore its
bridal paradigm’
Let’s be encouraged to meditate on the reality that; “I pray with great faith for you, because I’m fully convinced that the One who began this gracious work in you will faithfully continue the process of maturing you until the unveiling of our Lord Jesus Christ!” Philippians 1:6
And this is my personal prayer for us as a community and for each and everyone of you; “Only God knows how much I dearly love you with the tender affection of Jesus, the Anointed One. I continue to pray for your love to grow and increase beyond measure, bringing you into the rich revelation of spiritual insight in all things.” Philippians 1:8-9
I love you dearly family,
